Christian Louis Cooke (born 15 September 1986, Bradford, West Yorkshire) is an English television actor. He is best known for playing Luke Kirkwall in ITV1's Where the Heart Is.
Background[]
Cooke was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, where he attended St Mary's School, Menston and Bingley Arts Centre. He began his acting career at the age of 10 when he appeared in a production of Bedazzled at the Bingley Arts Centre.
Career[]
Cooke guest-starred in Casualty in late 2006 and appeared in the BBC production George Gently. He starred in one episode of BBC's Robin Hood as Will Scarlett's younger brother, Luke Scarlett.
Cooke also appeared in BBC1's The Chase and played Brae Marrack in Echo Beach. He guest-starred in the 2008 Doctor Who episodes The Sontaran Stratagem and The Poison Sky, playing UNIT soldier Ross Jenkins, who is killed off in the latter episode.
Cooke has recently completed filming ITV2's eight part drama Trinity in Chertsey.
He is currently appearing in the ITV1 supernatural drama Demons, playing the lead role of Luke Rutherford.
