The Library's DescriptionEdit
On the surface Quincey is every girl's dream handsome, funny and mysterious. But beneath his charming exterior lies one of the darkest and most dangerous souls in the half-life. Quincey is a Vampire. He has roamed the earth for over a hundred years as a creature of the night, enjoying the hunt for human flesh and chasing an unquenchable thirst for blood.
Until recently Quincey's wheereabouts have been unknown, he disappeared without a trace many years before. But now he's back, stronger than ever and stalking the shadows of London. Leader of a dysfunctional gang of misfits who do most of his dirty work for him, Quincey keeps his bizarre minions at bay with a mixture of charm and fear.
As a vampire, Quincey is unable to got out in the day, which for someone who favours the darker side of the city isn't really a problem. Although if he does need to get around in daylight he slips back into his coffin and is ferried around his own hearse.
A power-hungry vampire and Mina's son, Quincy views humans as an inferior species and thus believes that vampires are perfectly justified in hunting and killing them, viewing it as no more evil than humans killing and eating chickens. He wants Mina to join him because she possesses the blood of Dracula, the most powerful vampire who ever lived, in which he seeks to make himself invincible so that he can conquer the earth. Mina is reluctant to let him die, but he is eventually killed by Luke.
- Quincey was the name of Mina and Jonathan Harker's child at the end of the story Dracula by Bram Stoker. It is also the name of Jonathan's friend who dies in the story Dracula by Bram Stoker.
